Every ship has its own weapon and its own ultimate skill. Power it up during a stage, upgrade it between stages, and stack a weapon core on top.
Ultimate skills
Kills and boss damage fill your skill meter. Hit SKILL and unleash your ship's special, from a hurricane of bullets to a storm of 48 seeking missiles.
Enemies and bosses drop eight temporary secondary guns, including railgun, orbiting plasma saws, nova pulse and ricochet bolts, which fire alongside your main weapon.
Bring one of 4 support drones, invest in 9 permanent upgrades, and grab shields, overdrive, wingmen, magnets and bombs mid-fight.
